The percentage of Internet users who have ever searched for health information online has also increased substantially, from just over one-third (36.3%) in 2002 to one-half (50.6%) in 2005. This growth in online searching for health information has been due both to the increase in Internet users and to the increase in using the Internet for this purpose amongst those who are Internet users.
